About this role
As a Dietitian with Morrison Healthcare, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting at Mary Washington Hospital. You'll work with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.
Your responsibilities include performing comprehensive nutritional assessments and developing individualized care plans. You will also provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to patients, families, staff, and the community.

Requirements
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the food service management team to integrate clinical nutrition into food service operations and enhance the patient dining experience
