St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane seeks applications for the Hospital Nurse Coordinator (HNC) on a casual basis. The role assists with operational management outside normal business hours. Focus areas include clinical leadership, patient access, appropriate staffing levels, and emergency response procedures.
Provide clinical leadership during after-hours operations to ensure effective patient care delivery. Maintain optimal staffing levels and facilitate patient access across hospital services. Lead emergency response procedures to uphold safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Current and valid Advanced Life Support Certification
- Minimum of 5 years’ recent nursing experience in a hospital environment
- Previous management experience in an acute tertiary hospital, preferably as a Nurse Unit Manager, Hospital Nurse Coordinator or similar
- Excellent leadership skills to guide and support casual workforce
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care effectively
- Maintain patient advocacy and utilise patient management systems
- Able to work on a casual basis with flexible rostered shifts
Responsibilities
