About this role
To optimize the strategic impact and long-term sustainability of AHN’s nursing and allied health talent pipeline programs, the Project Manager provides project management support across multiple initiatives and priority workstreams. This role partners closely with internal clinical education leaders, hospital/market stakeholders, and community partners to plan and deliver projects on scope, on time, and within budget. It establishes reliable systems for tracking program activities and outcomes while managing complex funding streams including grants, hospital foundation contributions, and individual donations.
Lead end-to-end project management for nursing and allied health pipeline initiatives, including scope definition, workplans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Build and maintain a program roadmap that aligns pipeline projects with strategic workforce priorities. Facilitate governance and stakeholder communication through agendas, decision logs, status updates, and executive-ready reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across clinical education, operations, HR/talent, hospital/market leadership, academic partners, and vendors. Establish robust systems to track diverse funding streams, support budget monitoring, allowable spend tracking, and documentation for audits and compliance. Produce quarterly and ad hoc reporting on program milestones, participation metrics, outcomes, and return-on-investment indicators.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements such as intake, scheduling, partner onboarding, data capture, and reporting cadence. Develop SOPs, templates, and repeatable tools that scale across programs. Support grant and partnership development efforts with the broader community while adhering to Highmark/AHN project management methods and contributing to continuous improvement.
