About this role
Spring Forward Family Centre is a paediatric allied health clinic seeking registered health professionals to work full-time from home as occupational therapists. This role focuses on delivering telehealth services to children and their families.
Daily duties include completing new client interviews, creating tailored assessment plans, and overseeing intervention plans for clients to complete at home, school, or in the centre with therapy assistants. You will also funnel clients into groups and parent education seminars.
You will case manage all clients in your department, ensuring a clear multidisciplinary team 6-month intervention plan is developed in collaboration with other case managers. Responsibilities include getting client commitment, scheduling appointments, and converting intakes into active services.
You will run webinars and seminars online, supervise and educate the therapy assistant team, and conduct parent consultations and telehealth appointments. You will also complete summary and comprehensive telehealth assessments, along with all client reports.
Requirements
- CPD training with PRC Certification to be qualified for telehealth
- Good written and oral English
- Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions
- Stable internet connection, device with HD camera and noise-cancelling headset
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with certification in the Philippines
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take care of clients with different personalities
- Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans
Responsibilities
- Complete new client interviews and make assessment plans tailored to their needs
