This position is primarily fully remote for Occupational Therapists licensed in Virginia who live within the state. Expressable expands access to family-led therapy by empowering caregivers to participate actively in their loved one’s developmental journey.

Clinicians conduct sessions and evaluations for a diverse pediatric population while diagnosing developmental needs in fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and activities of daily living. Care plans incorporate caregiver education on adaptive strategies and home programs to support long-term outcomes.

You will join a thriving community of 160 fully remote clinicians supported by dedicated teams and a custom-built technology platform. The organization is Joint Commission certified and maintains over 3,000 five-star reviews from families served.

Part-time roles offer afternoon and evening availability after 3:30 PM on weekdays or weekend hours to meet client needs. Clinicians receive license renewal reimbursement, company-provided hardware, and health insurance options when qualified.

Requirements

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT, OTD, or equivalent)
Active, unrestricted OT license in Virginia and ability to obtain additional state licenses where needed
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
Pediatric experience, including evaluations and interventions in developmental areas (fine motor, gross motor, sensory, ADLs)
Proficiency with technology and ability to adapt to new digital tools independently
Experience working with insurance-based populations, including Medicaid
Reliable internet connection and appropriate private workspace

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy sessions and evaluations for a diverse pediatric population.
Diagnose and develop care plans that address developmental needs, including fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Educate and empower caregivers on adaptive strategies, home programs, and the use of therapeutic tools to support carryover and long-term outcomes.
Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and ensure safe, effective care in the home environment.
Complete all documentation in accordance with Expressable’s quality and timeliness standards.
Fulfill all required training, licensing/credentialing tasks, and internal communications in a timely manner.
