Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
Texas Occupational Therapy License (or able to obtain before anticipated start date)
1 year of experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
Ability to conduct patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment goals
Experience administering occupational therapy services to improve functional skills
Ability to train and support families with home-based therapy techniques

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment goals to enhance functional abilities.
Administer occupational therapy services to improve skills like range of motion, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living.
Train and support families with techniques and strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care; supervision of assistants is a plus.
Provide one-on-one patient care in a collaborative environment.
Document patient progress and maintain thorough records to support individualized care plans.
