As a Nutrition and Dietary Supervisor, you will maintain full accountability and stewardship relating to all aspects of the specialized Nutrition Lab and at the Santa Monica Hospital. This involves creation of standards and policies along with infection control oversight.

The role includes supervision of staff involved in nutrition and food service, supplies, food and temperature control guidelines, and the Timeless Software System. You will also develop performance improvement plans and oversee formula preparation and stakeholder education.

This position provides medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and outpatients in Pediatrics and NICU while offering cross-coverage for adult patients across ICU, Critical Care, Cardiac, Renal, GI, OB, Oncology, Head/Neck, Med Surg, and Geriatric areas.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credential required
  • Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in Pediatrics and NICU settings
  • Supervisory experience in clinical nutrition or food service operations
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and formula preparation protocols
  • Familiarity with nutrition software systems and performance improvement processes
  • Ability to manage cross-coverage across adult critical care and specialty units

Responsibilities
