About this role

The Pathology Solutions Specialist in Tissue Diagnostics protects and grows the High Medical Value IHC portfolio and research market share. This role implements sales plans designed to achieve established revenue and financial goals.

Day-to-day, you will leverage current business relationships to maintain and grow the customer base. You will coordinate with Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers to sell capital equipment to health systems, hospitals, and reference laboratories.

This field-based role covers Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, requiring residence within 50 miles of the territory border. You will work independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.

As an expert in company products and services, you will continuously build knowledge of industry trends and share insights with colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful sales strategies for critical accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Complete knowledge of company products and services
  • Expert-level understanding of the competitive landscape for Advanced Staining
  • Demonstrated judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Experience focusing on critical, large, complex, high-visibility accounts
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the territory border (OH, PA, WV)

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales plans to achieve established revenue and financial goals
  • Protect and grow the High Medical Value IHC portfolio and research market share
  • Leverage current business relationships to maintain and grow the customer base
  • Sell capital equipment to health systems, hospitals, and reference laboratories via capital expenditures or reagent bundling
  • Assume an active leadership role in developing and implementing capital equipment sales strategies
  • Manage complex sales and resolve customer questions using strong product and market knowledge
  • Effectively manage the sales funnel by identifying opportunities and creating solutions
  • Coordinate with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure sales support and program delivery
