Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have demonstrated experience in the use of a computer, including typing and clerical skills
  • Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
  • Six months experience in medical records in a health care office is highly preferred
  • Must possess a valid state driver license
  • Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
  • Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
  • Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions

  • Ensure the integrity of the patient medical record
  • Provide clerical support for medical records operations
  • Process signed and unsigned orders and 485's
  • Ensure documents are saved to the patient medical record
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient documentation
  • Support clinical staff with record-keeping needs
