Requirements

  • Completion of United States based residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Experience interpreting complex laboratory and tissue diagnostics
  • Ability to collaborate within a multispecialty physician group practice

Responsibilities

  • Perform anatomic pathology examinations on surgical specimens and biopsies
  • Conduct clinical pathology testing and laboratory result interpretation
  • Provide diagnostic consultations to physicians across medical specialties
  • Contribute to research initiatives through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
  • Support training of medical students, residents and fellows in pathology
  • Deliver evidence-based diagnostic services aligned with best practices
