Requirements
- Completion of United States based residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Experience interpreting complex laboratory and tissue diagnostics
- Ability to collaborate within a multispecialty physician group practice
Responsibilities
- Perform anatomic pathology examinations on surgical specimens and biopsies
- Conduct clinical pathology testing and laboratory result interpretation
- Provide diagnostic consultations to physicians across medical specialties
- Contribute to research initiatives through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
- Support training of medical students, residents and fellows in pathology
- Deliver evidence-based diagnostic services aligned with best practices
