Charge Nurse - Registered Nurse III

The Department of Public Health/Tewksbury Hospital is seeking professional and dedicated Registered Nurse IIIs to perform in a permanent charge position on Patient Care Units. They provide primary nursing care to adult patients and establish nursing plans of approach. This role ensures quality care by following hospital and departmental standards.

As charge nurse, you assume daily responsibility for continuity of care, collaborating with the Nurse Manager in supervision and evaluation of personnel. You collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in multidisciplinary meetings and rounds to communicate pertinent patient care information. You supervise employees of lesser grade by assigning tasks based on individual competencies and evaluating performance.
