About this role

As an Inpatient Registered Nurse at Tanager, you will provide nursing expertise and leadership in delivering quality care to children and teens in our inpatient programs. Every interaction you have can shape a child's future, helping them feel seen, supported, and safe.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating health services activities, ensuring high-quality treatment and medication administration. Your day-to-day work involves implementing the Nursing Department's philosophy, goals, and standards for nursing practice.

Requirements

  • Current RN license required
  • Must have a current State of Iowa Nursing License
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing expertise and leadership in providing quality nursing care to clients/consumers of Tanager
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate health services activities for Inpatient Programs
  • Effectively implement the Nursing Department's philosophy, goals, and standards for nursing practice
  • Ensure strategies are in place to provide high-quality treatment and medication administration to clients
  • Help children feel seen, supported, and safe through every interaction
  • Inspire hope and help youth find their strength, voice, and purpose
