Arbors at Gallipolis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Weekend Warrior Night Shift program. Whether you are a newly licensed graduate or an experienced staff nurse, we invite you to join a team that values your contribution and offers leading market wages.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and provide total nursing care for residents while supervising and guiding clinical staff. Your day-to-day includes assessing resident conditions, implementing physicians' orders, administering medications, and starting IVs as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Valid RN license in the state employed.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • One year of nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to administer medications and start IVs.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing nursing care.
  • Ability to assess and document resident condition and nursing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
  • Assess and document the resident's condition and nursing needs.
  • Accurately and promptly implement physicians' orders.
  • Assign nursing care to team members in accordance with resident needs and staff capabilities.
  • Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting as required by company and regulatory rules.
  • Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
  • Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified nursing practice.
