At Epworth Geelong, our General Surgical teams play a vital role in the well-being of thousands of patients suffering from debilitating or distressing conditions.

You will join a multidisciplinary team treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical problems with advanced care, technology and services. The surgical ward specialises in breast and endocrine, ENT, neurosurgery, plastics, vascular, hepatobiliary, colorectal, upper and lower GI, bariatric weight loss surgery, dental and ophthalmology.

You will be supported by great teams with excellent leaders and provided with the opportunity to increase your knowledge through extensive educational programs and opportunities. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in acute surgical nursing
  • An excellent clinical understanding of surgical nursing care
  • Well-developed proactive time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to your professional development
  • The ability to work within a team focused environment
  • Passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
