About this role

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) at United Health Services provides high-acuity, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (required).
Current New York State Registered Nurse License (required).
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (preferred).
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting (preferred).
CCRN certification (preferred).
Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide high-acuity, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care guided by UHS values of Trust, Compassion, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation.
Support patients and families during complex and often life-threatening conditions.
Collaborate with a team that values strong teamwork and mutual support.
Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient assessments and interventions accurately.
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
