About this role

Dialogue is the #1 virtual care provider in Canada, developing an Integrated Health Platform to deliver online health and wellness programs. As a Registered Nurse on the night shift, you will help people improve their wellbeing by providing clinical assessments and referrals through our platform.

Your day-to-day involves assessing patients via telephone or video, identifying key symptoms, and referring them to appropriate health services such as clinics, emergency departments, or virtual practitioner appointments. You will also provide advice on symptom management at home and prescribe group prescriptions according to your virtual scope of practice.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient care journey from start to finish. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical expertise and excellent communication and customer service skills, working in a supportive virtual environment.

Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English and French.
2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Availability to work at least 21 hours a week on evening and night shifts, including weekends.
An active and valid nursing license to practice in Quebec.
Knowledge and mastery of vaccination (PIQ), contraception, and STI screening and treatment are assets.
Experience in an expanded role, community or primary care preferred; emergency or critical care experience and a license from other Canadian provinces are assets.
Autonomy, professionalism, adaptability, and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

Assessing patients via telephone or video and identifying key symptoms.
Referring patients to appropriate health services based on clinical assessment (clinic, emergency, or virtual appointment with a practitioner).
Providing advice on symptom management at home.
Prescribing group prescriptions according to your virtual scope of practice.
Documenting consultations and following up with patients as needed.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient care journey.
