About this role
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Theatre team.
Develop excellent working relationships with staff members, consultants and key stakeholders. Assist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and quality of care and services. Support the Quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards.
Identify risks to quality of care and services. Plan, recommend and implement changes for continuous improvement. Be based at Duchy Hospital, Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for high quality healthcare.

Requirements
- ODP level 3
- Registered member with the HCPC or NMC
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
- Strong clinical background
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Sound computer skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proven track record delivering a change agenda to enhance quality and efficiency
