This grant-funded contractual role supports research studies at the facility in Tando Muhammad Khan.

As Senior Medical Officer, identify and enroll patients for ongoing research studies focused on disabilities and malnutrition. Follow up with study participants, update visit schedules, and maintain detailed records of cases. Design social mobilization strategies to foster community collaboration with research projects.

Provide guidance to children screening positive for disabilities or malnutrition while ensuring community participation to enhance case reporting. Train junior staff at health centers, monitor field data collection processes, and evaluate data validity. Develop data collection forms and submit weekly and monthly progress reports.

Coordinate with the team for regular meetings and presentations in a diverse, inclusive environment. Requirements

  • MBBS from a recognized institution
  • Valid PMDC registration
  • Experience in patient identification and enrollment for research studies
  • Knowledge of research protocols and data collection processes
  • Skills in community mobilization and social strategies for health projects
  • Ability to provide clinical guidance for pediatric disabilities and malnutrition
  • Proficiency in monitoring, validating, and reporting research data

Responsibilities
