About this role

Our critical care services are growing at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. The ICU/PCU is expanding in neuro-critical care services as well as heart and vascular and surgical oncology. We are looking to expand our team of critical care nurses to accommodate this growth in these patient populations.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work in high-stress ICU/PCU environment
  • Knowledge of neuro-critical care protocols
  • Familiarity with cardiac and vascular monitoring
  • Skills in caring for surgical oncology patients
  • Commitment to continuous patient assessment

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in neuro-critical care
  • Manage heart and vascular patients in ICU/PCU settings
  • Care for surgical oncology patients requiring intensive monitoring
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions
  • Administer medications, treatments, and ventilator support
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assess and document patient progress in critical care
