As a Medical Records Assistant, perform audits for nursing documentation and assist at nurse stations. Ensure patient charts, paperwork, and reports are completed accurately and timely. Protect medical records confidentiality, file patient information, supply nursing department documents, and handle clerical duties like phones, emails, and admissions.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with basic computer skills (Required)
  • Ability to multi-task (Required)
  • Authorized to work in the United States (Required)
  • ICD-10 Coding (Preferred)
  • Point Click Care (Preferred)
  • Skilled Nursing Facility Experience (Preferred)
  • Weekend availability Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits for nursing documentation
  • Assist at nurse stations
  • Ensure patient charts, paperwork, and reports are completed accurately and timely
  • Protect and maintain confidentiality of all medical records
  • File patients' medical records and information
  • Supply nursing department with appropriate documents and forms
  • Complete clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing patient admission and discharge records
